Muhammad Rizwan named men's T20 cricketer of the year 2021

Recently, the ICC had included Rizwan for its T20I team of the year including two more Pakistani players Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

"The Pakistan wicketkeeper batsman ruled the shorter format of the game," the ICC said of Rizwan as the top T20I player of the year.

The Pakistan wicketkeeper player in 2021 when it came to the most limited format of the game, Scored an amazing 1,326 runs in just 29 matches, Rizwan struck at a average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 134.89.He  scored the 1st T20I century against South Africa in Lahore. He also scored 87 against West Indies in Karachi.

However a pursuit of 152 looked simple on paper, Pakistan had the heaviness of history against them in the T20 World Cup experience against India. Bowling attack like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami the target was made even more difficult.
